There are loads of places to study in London and both formal degree and apprentice programs are available. The schools tend be quite specialized in their focus so it pays to really know what you want to accomplish before you enroll. The London Film Academy, for example, offers a variety of one-year diplomas and certificates while the London Film School offers postgraduate study in cinematography along with craft extension courses for the advanced practitioner. The Metropolitan Film School offers a variety of short courses with the longest being a 12-month part-time diploma in filmmaking.
